Monday August 22, 2011

Sunday was in some ways another good day. As always the nausea is persistent and ever present. Mom had not slept well if at all Saturday night due to some restless leg issues and was pretty tired on Sunday.

Some positives:

She held her food down and did not throw up.
She got a new bed which seems to help with her aching back.
She was able to sit up in a chair for quite a while.
Things to pray about:
1) Nausea
2) The kidney cannot be addressed by cryo treatment now as it is only done up to 3cm and the mass has grown to 3.2cm. The kidney surgeon (we hope) will be by today to discuss options. Please pray for this procedure whatever it will be.
Thank you for reading the blog and praying for mom and dad.
We appreciate you all.
With much love.
Kimberly and family

that in itself is huge! I pray the new bed will allow you to get some much needed rest! I am sooooo proud of you being able to sit up for a good while that really takes alot of strength when your sweet body is weak!
I will be praying about your kidney, that mass has got to go one way or the other, the good Lord knows what to do. You are so loved Diva, We are praying for

Dear Cousin Deva,
Hi there my sweet Cousin; well it appears to me that you are still fighting a good fight and are hanging in there? Any more word on when and what type procedure the doctor is going to use on your kidney? My dear Cousin Deva, I just hope and pray that the Almighty God and His Son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, will soon cause you to start feeling much better, and take away your nausea, so that you will be able to eat your food, keep it down, and become strong and healthy once again! I realize that you have had some set backs since being hospitalized, but don't give up hope; just remember that you have a host of people out here that love, care for, and pray for your healing and well being continuously! God bless you and your wonderful family, especially your fine husband Warren, daughters Carmen, and Kim, and your son Troy! I hope that you will
soon be able to take an equal strain on all parts, and get plenty of rest! Your poor old Cousin John really does love you one big old bunch!

Dear Sister Deva:
We interceed for you continually
during the day and in the night
watch. God has a plan for you. We
wish we knew what is is but since
we don't we just have to wait and
continue trusting God who knows
our every thought. We love you and
feel so bad that you are suffering. Nightmares don't last
forever nor does pain and suffering. I'm so glad you were
able to keep some food down. That
shows that something must be beginning to function. We Love you and your dear family very much.

Good evening....I'm truly sorry to know how tough this time must be for you. It wouldn't be easy for anyone to experience what your're going through, but it must be especially hard for someone with a heart as big and as beautiful as yours, Ladeva. Maybe the silver lining in this cloud is that the heart that makes you feel things so deeply...is the same strong and wonderfully caring heart that will lead you in your journey to a brighter day. And if there's one thing I'm sure of...it's that you will see your way through, and the love of others will always walk beside you. Phil and I are walking right beside you, Warren and family..Love you always, Charlotte
