Hello everyone. I am a friend of Brian and Kimberly Gibson's and have met Ladeva a few times. My wife and I wanted to do something to help out while she is going through this time in her life and we came up with this.
This blog will help family and friends stay connected to Ladeva during this time. I hope to post updates as regularly as possible. If you are reading this, you can also post comments to Ladeva in the comment section below each post. I believe she will have access to read what you have posted and I know this will be a great encouragement to her. Thanks.

To all the family, you know that you are in our prayers constantly and will continue to be. I pray for God's strength for you. He is so good! I And He is right there with you through this. I believe that He has already sent His angels to guide and protect Dee and you all at this time and He is in the business of making miracles happen!!!
To Dee, i love you sissy. My heart is right there in your lap!!! and it will stay there thru out all the proceedures, the chemo,tests, it will be there. it will stay there in the night, if you are in pain or get sick or lonely or scared, it will be right there with you. How i wish i could take this 'stuff' from you!!!
Just remember, that you are loved and you are in God's care and nothing could be better than that.

Grubers-What a wonderful gift for my darling cousin, Deva.
Deva, Sweetie, we are always with you in prayer and spirit here in Texas City. Went to Danny's today. Really good. Remember our fun time there? We'll do it again. Warren is a special person to be so attentive and special at this time and place in your precious life. Krystl, our daughter in Austin,is starting a prayer chain at her church in Austin. They have over 6,000 members. She is in children's worship services there. Called me today as they are moving into a new building on the grounds and she wanted to check on you all. Your daughter, Kim, has been so wonderful to keep Donna informed. Donna and I talk usually one or two times a day. Then I call EJ and Candy in Dallas. We are all depending on the Lord to take care of the bump in the road. You'll soo be riding on easy street. We all love you and your family so very much. Let them know. Much love and I'm sure you have a great team there and they know what they are doing. Love you so much.

Hi LaDeva and Warren. You are being thought of in a big way from the State of Texas! We are constantly in touch with Donna Jo. You can't even imagine how sorry we are that you have to go through all this, but hang tight and keep the faith. I have fought many a battle since my twelveth birthday when polio got me down for a while, but with all the good doctoring and etc. now days you will get "up and at-em" also. You guys will just have to come down and have some of Danny Dang's good Chinese food and a Poo Poo platter when you get out of the hospital. We love you lotz and are thinking of you constantly and praying with many others. Keep a smile on that pretty face!! Whenever I would start looking and acting "dumpy" back in my first days of sickness my dear ole dad would say "now, no rooster looks". When I asked what that meant at first he said my lower lip was sticking out and he liked the top lip sticking out and that made me feel better and look better, also.
