Mama had a pretty good day today. Aunt Edna and Aunt Soli came and spent the day with her. They took Mama for a blood draw at a local lab. The results were sent to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Mama was relieved and happy to get a call from Seattle, confirming that she didn't have to go back for any platelets. It was a fairly quiet day. I was able to pick up some lunch and take it up to have lunch with Mama and my Aunties. Mama was able to eat without any discomfort. That is a HUGE praise. Thank you Jesus! This is the best that Mama has felt in a very long time. Mama and Daddy have been having a nice relaxing evening. They are snuggled up on the sofa as I type. It makes me so happy to see them both feeling good and relaxing. Prayers are being answered. Blessings to all of you.
With love,
Carmen

What a wonderful report Dee,
Looks like you may get to stay at home a few days, eh? Glad you are eating and enjoying your Eddie and Soli. They are like comfort food aren't they? Is Eddie telling any little windeys? Donald tells me she is capable of such things just to pull your leg. What support you have darling. That Warren is one special person and I understand he is very attentive to your meds and every aspect of what is going on. DJ keeps me up as well as this wonderful blogg. DJ and I both ate oysters today. Bet that doesn't sound good to you right now. I'm telling you, Dee, that DJ and I tell it all and sometimes for hours on the phone. Thnk goodness telephone rates are not so pricey as in the ice ages.
Remember?
Well, I'm pleased you are doing well. It is 5:00AM. I just couldn't sleep and get everybody's concerns off my mind. I'm lovin' all of you up there. Wish I could be with you just to see you smile and throw you a kiss. I'm going to go back to bed now and try to see if I can catch that smile and kiss image. Love you to pieces.

Hi Ladeva and Warren
It is so wonderful to hear that things have improved and you are able to eat. I just read Jerry's letter and I find it so hard to believe that Edna tells Windys. She has always seemed so proper. Well maybe I didn't know her that well. haha. If Don said it, must be so, right?
When you are up to some company and I'm down that way, I would love to see you. However, even if I don't, you are never far from our thoughts and prayers. Cause, sweetie, you are in them every day. No matter what comes our way, we just have to remembr that 'God is greater' than anything the devil can throw at us.
A big hello to the rest of the family.
Love you gal,
Ed and Ruby
