Mom has three more treatments left and will have a full month off before the surgery.
This will be the longest string of days without treatment she has had since April 15th! Yeah!! Her leg is hurting and she is most uncomfortable with jeans or pants on. She is keeping it bandaged and away from her clothing to make it so the burned area does not rub against anything and get irritated.
Mom has asked me to post a prayer request for her sister Edna. She has had decreased lung capacity, and her muscles are not responding so she is needing some help to move as she has lost the use of her arms and legs. Her enzyme level is way off and they are waiting for results from a muscle biopsy test to determine the cause.
She is on strong doses of prednisone and today seems encouraged that she was able to stand for a little while.
We would appreciate your prayers for her recovery,comfort, and wisdom for the Dr.'s as well.

TODAY I READ SOMETHING THAT SAID:
COURAGE IS TRYING AGAIN TOMORROW.AND I THINK THAT IS WHAT WE DO. WE PRAY, AND DO OUR BEST AND LEAVE THE REST TO GOD WHO KNOWS THE ANSWERS BEFORE WE EVEN ASK THE QUESTON.

October 3 - Down to the last days, and then surgery in a month... What a long, long road this has been, but the end is in sight.... AWESOME.... Deva, when you go see Edna, give her a hug from me. She has always been so sweet and friendly and I just loved her drawal - her and Darlene both - the rest of you didn't have it as much, but it was sweet and precious. We love you guys, but guess you knew that already.... me
Oh my, so glad to hear this is the last week of your radiation. We are looking forward to the day we hear that all is okay. period!! So sorry to hear that Edna is having problems also. Bless her heart we will just add her to our list of people that we pray for everyday. Hopefully, they will find out what is wrong and correct it.

What a victory -- having the radiation all over. Now you can try to rest for a month. God is with you and will be there healing all month. You are a precious person and we are all here and rooting for you. Lovin' you so much.
