One day down....approximately 27 to go.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to update you on Mom's first day of radiation.
She was there about 1 1/2 hours.
She said most of that time was spent trying to position her perfectly and get her lined up for all future treatments. She said they were all very careful and conscience with their measuring. The treatment did not last that long and was pain free.
They told her it should be that way for 2-3 weeks before she feels any discomfort.
That is great as she has had enough of the pain stuff.

Will update you as she progresses.

Thank you for all the encouragement and prayers. It makes a difference day in and day out.

Lovingly,
Kimberly and family

Deva,
I'm with Donna Jo--you are ONE tough cookie! We could all take a lesson from you--how to go through a great deal of pain and adversity with grace, love and dignity. The Lord has used you in a mighty way and there may just be no way to tell--this side of heaven anyway--just how many lives you've touched. Way to go, cousin! We're rooting for you big time here in Dallas and praying that the radiation therapy is just a breeze! We're going to keep praying until there's not one bit of cancer left! We love you! Karl and Candi
