Monday evening update

After this mornings post, things got a little rough. It has been Mama's worst day yet. The epidural was removed shortly after the chest tube. The transition from epidural to oral pain meds was not smooth. Mama was experiencing quite a lot of pain most of the day. This evening they finally got her pain under control. She has been so droopy that she could not stay awake during dinner. She doesn't like being so sleepy, but she is so thankful for the sleep and rest. She is resting well now. Hopefully tomorrow is a much better day.

Thank you to all that have held Mama and our family up in prayer. We can feel your prayers. We love and appreciate you all so much.

With love,
Carmen

Dear Warren,Ladeva,Carmen and Family:

It was a true prvilege to be there for the family. We just couldn't stand staying home knowing that our loved onces need it love and care. We listen to our heart. I know that Steve felt the same way.

The Lord has taken all of us through the desert and now we are in our way to recovery. I know it was not easy seeing our sweet Ladeva in so much pain but the Lord was there through it all.

We pray in some way that we were of help.We love you guys so much that this was a way of showing you how much we care.

We did have so much fun before the Big Day. Even after surgery you always welcomed us and made us feel part of the family.
You are an awesome lady and the Lord will HONER your faithfullnes to Him.

Warren while being there at the hospital I was able to see how much you love your sweet wife, that just brought so much joy to my heart. You have totally keept your promise from the day you got married. For better and for WORSE, in SICkNESS and in health.Thank you for being such and awesome husband :)

Carmen WOW!!!! What a trooper you are! Imagine you were so scared to have to be there for the day that they took the tube out but yet you hung in there and helped your mom. When your mom was tursty you gave here something to drink. You where always making sure she was taken care of and I have to say if I ever get sick again I hope you can be my personal nurse. I love you so much.

Thank you Dahlin family for making us be part of you and for allowing us to be there for you.
We are your friends for life and eternaty.
Love
Lucia,Greg and Alex

P.S. If you need anything at all let us know and we will be there to help out. Ok?!
